Ulises Hadjis: Latin Indie Singer-Songwriter

The term "thoughtful" would be an understatement when it comes to the lyrical output of Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ulises Hadjis, who holds a master's degree in philosophy and is currently studying psychoanalysis. And when combined with his original melodies, his songs have earned him acclaim from fans and critics all over the world. His 2012 disc, "Cosas Perdidas", was nominated for three Latin Grammys, in the Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Song categories. Now he's touring behind his latest album, "Pavimento", with this appearance at Subrosa in Greenwich Village.
