About Signals of Bedlam, Red Hymns, Stoops Kids
Signals of Bedlam plays heavy progressive rock.
???Signals of Bedlam? In a perfect universe, this band will become huge stars..Vocalist [Cero Cartera] is as talented and mesmerizing a singer as Maynard James Keenan. Guitarist [Tom Hoy] is the perfect foil for [Cartera], and the rhythm section of Rich Abidor on drums and bassist Chika Obiora are as adept at laying down lush, solid foundations as they are at explosive blast beats...My hand to God, there is not a single weak track on this record... And this is one of those times I???d love to give them a six out of five rating.??? (5/5)
Vocals: Jeremy Hernadez
Guitar: Alexander Grullon
Bass: Rob Piccininni Jr.
Drums: Michael Cipriano
Red Hymns, formed in December of 2015, is a new rock band hailing from Northern New Jersey. Recommended for fans of Circa Survive and Deftones, their sound is heavy, melodic and raw. Delay infused guitar riffs, pounding drums, and thick bass grooves combined with the infectious sound of singer Jeremy Hernandez's soothing voice will have you singing along with each track.
Red Hymns has recently released their debut EP: Vol. 1, and completed tracking on Vol. 2, both recorded by John Naclerio at Nada Recording Studio in Montgomery, NY. Vol. 2 will be mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin. These recordings are the first of four EP's that the band plans to release in the coming year.
Stoop Kids??? sound is an eclectic mix of soul, hip-hop, surf, jazz, and rock with a psychedelic aftertaste. This, combined with their high-energy, theatrical, performances, makes Stoop Kids unique and unpredictable. While based in New Orleans, the band has toured extensively throughout the eastern United States over the past two years and continues to tour. Their sophomore album, Already Out of Time, was described as Dza genre-bending masterpiecedz and Dzan essential album of 2015dz.The group is fronted by Griffin Dean singing, rapping, dancing, playing guitar, and writing the majority of the music. He is backed by Thomas Eisenhood (Baritone Saxophone, Harmonies), Sam Fruend (Bass, Harmonies), David Paternostro (Keys, Guitar), and Joe Tontillo (Drums). The five-piece band has independently released two albums and self-booked over 250 shows over the three years since their inception.
