Shana Malone

About Shana Malone

Shana Malone’s musical influences started with her southern Baptist roots and, of course, her family. She was raised and still lives in the genres of gospel, soul, rhythm and blues, pop, hip hop, rock and roll, folk and some jazz. Her biggest vocal influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin,
Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Prince, and Michael Jackson to name a few. She left Atlanta with a dream, she had as a very young girl, to move to New York and pursue living for her love of music. While she hasn’t picked up her saxophone or clarinet since high school, she prides herself on teaching herself piano to write her own songs and her nearly four full octaves vocal range. She has met some amazing musicians along her wonderful journey, making her a better musician and person and is excited to be able to bring them along. Yasuhiko Fukuoka, Danny Kean and quite possibly a few more will join in on the celebration of Love through music.
