Blues Guitar Phenom Selwyn Birchwood & His Band

Between his gritty vocals, down-home blues-funk songwriting and stunning virtuosity on both the electric and lap steel guitars, Selwyn Birchwood's splash made on the music scene continues to ripple. He and his band bested more than 200 other acts to win the International Blues Challenge in 2013, the most prestigious competition of its kind, and haven't quit the road since, playing major festivals and dates alongside his mentor Sonny Rhodes, as well as Robert Cray, Joe Louis Walker and Buddy Guy. Now this Florida-born frontman returns to B.B. King Blues Club to deliver everything from slow blues to modern rock stompers.
