About Screenings of "Fifty Years of Kicks" & "Road Less Traveled"

Short Documentary: Fifty Years Of Kicks, by Anthony Kerr & Dallas Shannon

“Men do not quit playing because they grow old, they grow old because they quit playing.” - Oliver Wendell Holmes

"Fifty Years of Kicks" features two experienced offroad motorcycle riders who continue to do what they love despite age and health issues. Plenty of videos focus on teenagers and young adults pushing their sport to the limit. "Fifty Years of Kicks" shows older adults pushing their bodies to the limit. Instead of being inspired by the exploits of 18-year-olds in extreme sports, we are inspired by older people participating in activities typically reserved for the young. Rather than lamenting, “I wish I could have tried that when I was young”, we want to say, “I want to be like them when I grow up!”

Feature Documentary: Road Less Traveled, by James Beatty

James & Steven take on the adventure of a lifetime as they ride motorcycles off-road across the Trans-America Trail! Nearly 5,000 miles of dirt will show them the most amazing vistas in the country as they ramble across ten states to the Pacific coastline of Oregon. Their mettle will be tested with crashes, injuries, getting lost in the wilderness and mechanical breakdowns. When their luck runs out, strangers with enormous character will come to their rescue. Beyond these challenges, "Road Less Traveled" is a revelation of the conflict and connection between two brothers and their father.
