About Scott Law w/ Special Guests Andy Falco (The Infamous Stringdusters) and singer-songwriter Leslie Mendelson

Multifaceted artist Scott Law is an accomplished guitar master, singer-songwriter and recording artist operating at the very highest level of his craft. Hailed as an "esteemed flatpicker" by Acoustic Guitar. Law is equally reverent and inventive on steel strings whether in a lead or supporting role. Law's versatility on the guitar ranges from the flatpicking school of Doc Watson, to the hardcore country pickings of Clarence White, Albert Lee and Don Rich, to the electric blues of Mike Bloomfield, while also giving a feel and fluidity reminiscent of Jerry Garcia. Law has performed with an array of bluegrass, American roots, rock and jam band luminaries including Phil Lesh & Friends, longtime musical accomplices The String Cheese Incident, Darol Anger, Tim & Nicki Bluhm, Tony Furtado, The Mother Hips, Crooked Still, Peter Rowan, The Travelin' McCourys, Leftover Salmon, Danny Barnes, Railroad Earth, Jerry Joseph, Melvin Seals, Brokedown in Bakersfield and many others.

Andy Falco has been performing and recording American roots music his whole life. His love for American music has led him through a journey of musical experiences, allowing him to develop many styles and making him one of the most diverse musicians in his field. His high energy live performances and tasteful recording styles have drawn much attention to him from audiences and press, and have earned him much respect from his peers. He started out playing lead guitar and singing with the Northeast-based Water Street Blues Band; he stayed with them until 1999. He worked as lead guitarist and singer with Buddy Merriam & Backroads from 2000 to 2004 while basing himself in New York. In 2004, he moved to Nashville and became a member of Alecia Nugent's band, appearing on her album A Little Girl...a Big Four-Lane; he also performed with the Greencards. In 2007, he became a member of the Infamous Stringdusters.

Leslie Mendelson is a singer/songwriter/artist from New York City. She spent the last year in London working with legendary producer Glyn Johns and The Who's Roger Daltery for his upcoming solo album. She also recorded with the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir at TRI Studios in San Rafael, CA. Born and raised on Long Island, Leslie grew up in a musical family. At an early age she started playing piano by ear, singing and writing her own songs. "Music has always been in our family. My father still plays the trumpet everyday, my grandfather was a singer with a big ol' baritone voice and my great grandfather was a performer in the Yiddish theater where he whistled and played the spoons." Her parents introduced her to singer/songwriters and artists of the time as well as classic jazz and rock and roll. "I'll listen to everything from Frank Sinatra to David Bowie. If it's good it doesn't matter what genre it is. I love country, soul, rock, whatever. I love the greats."
