Samia Finnerty

With a voice that parallels Lorde and Laura Nyro and the unforgettable appeal of icons such as Sky Ferreira and Alanis Morrisette, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter Samia Najimy Finnerty is taking NY City by storm. Recently out of the recording studio.. Samia is excited to perform these new songs and others at her Cutting Room New York City debut . Samia arrived in NY from hometown LA in 2012 and sold out 3 NY shows at Joe's Pub & 54 Below as well as The Mint LA. Samia plays guitar and piano, performs her 14 original songs with her band~~ and takes on such classics as Amy Winehouse's Valerie and Kitten's Kill the Lights. Past special guests have included: Kristin Chenoweth, Alice Ripley, BETTY and Bridgett Everett.
