About Samantha Marie Ware


After recently making her national television debut on the award winning show, GLEE as a series regular, Samantha Marie Ware is ready to continue taking on the world. Ware is a Nebraska born native currently residing in New York City. Before becoming a TV star she was last seen in “THE BOOK OF MORMON: First National Tour” as Nabulungi Hatimbi where Samantha caught the eye of many across the nation, Including the LA TIMES.* Samantha continued on to win the Helen Hayes award for 'Best Supporting Role' for the touring production. In 2012, Ware made her Broadway debut as the first cover for Tony Award Winner, Nikki James in “THE BOOK OF MORMON” on Broadway. Before Broadway, you were able to catch her lighting up the stage as the role of NALA in DISNEYS THE LION KING. Little did she know at that time that the journey was only beginning.

With the passion for the stage, Samantha left home in Nebraska seeking her dream. Before making the "Big Time" she was last seen partnered with Sally Struthers in a Production of “Chicago” at the City Stage in Kansas City as the role of Velma.

Samantha is also a member of the Leukimia Lymphoma society. Raising awareness for the millions effected by blood cancers.

Also advocating for social equality for race and gender, Ware considers herself a #SMARTBROWNGIRL and will continue to fight for the movement that supports young black women in celebrarting thier ubiquity as human beings while defining beauty and breaking boundries.
