Ruthe London

Ruthe London’s music is a combination of blues, jazz and bossa nova mixed with her own style. Ranging from a soft swing to a fast beat, her sound originates from her Brazillian roots. The singer/songwriter has released two albums:

“Bossa in Blues” (2003), presents some of her own compositions beside great musician's hits such as Tom Waits, Paul Rogers, Little Walter, and Herbert Vianna and “Nosso Blue” (2008), includes her own songs , as well as songs by Rita Lee, Marina Lima, Little Walter, Don Hecht, Alan Block and S. Burk .

For this performances, Ruthe plays with Adan Lomeo , Jorge Continentino, and Leco Reis a mix of songs from both her albuns, as well as songs from other great Brazilian songwriters, such as Tom Jobim and Marcos Valle.
