Count Basie called Roomful of Blues "the hottest blues band I've ever heard." Led by guitarist Chris Vachon, saxophonist Rich Lataille and a powerful horn section, this New England-based band's been rocking houses since the '60s, with what "Rolling Stone" calls "an inspired, lively and heated brand of rippling, up-tempo, horn-dominated R&B."
