Piper Kerman ("Orange Is the New Black") in Group Discussion About Risk & Change

"Risky Talking" is a series of conversations with brave risk-takers in the arts and politics. Piper Kerman, whose memoir "Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison" inspired the Emmy-winning hit Netflix series, joins Donna Hylton, an advocate for Coming Home, a group that helps incarcerated people transition from prison to the community. They'll convene at STREB in Brooklyn, joining Elizabeth Streb, choreographer and winner of a MacArthur "Genius" fellowship, and best-selling author, journalist and broadcaster Laura Flanders to discuss courage and audacity.
