Composer/pianist Richard X Bennett returns to Rockwood Music Hall to play music from his two new Ropeadope Records releases, the groove jazz trio WHAT IS NOW” and his visionary raga-meets-Mingus quintet “EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH”. He is joined by the exhilarating saxes of Lisa Parrott and Matt Parker and the big-time rhythm section of Adam Armstrong and Alex Wyatt.

In New York composer/pianist Richard X Bennett's groups have performed at Lincoln Center Out of Doors, The Guggenheim Museum, The Rubin Museum, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and Central Park Summerstage. Internationally, he has toured over twenty countries. He has six albums on Indian labels including two from "Times Music", India's biggest label.
