About "Reflections of Light"

DCINY: Cherubini's Requiem & Songs of Light

The beautiful David Geffen Hall in New York City's Lincoln Center will sparkle with "Reflections of Light" during this concert from Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers International. You'll fly to the moon and wish upon a star in a series of light-themed choral songs, which culminate with Cherubini's Requiem in C minor. In 1834, this masterwork was banned in Paris because of its use of women's voices. Now it's a perfect time to hear them loud and clear. The program concludes with the world premiere of Dinos Constantinides' Flute and Harp Concerto. These two instruments' bright and dreamy voices are sure to be the perfect end to this evocative concert.
