About Red Oblivion, AM Aesthetic, Adam Sullivan and The Trees, The New Schematics, Elle Winston, Circadian Clock

The outfit that is Red Oblivion comprising of Zach Adams (Vocals/Bass), Emma Torres (Guitar), and Carson Groenewold (Drums) met at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. Where they immersed themselves in the art of making music and honed their craft. Shortly after graduation the trio made the move to New York City. They have been establishing themselves in the city's rock scene ever since, bringing their ripped t-shirt, studded combat boots, and lace up leather style to the Big Apple. The band's diverse influences include: The Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, and Against Me.

The trio is currently recording their second and first full-length album titled "My Friend Fear" at The Record Company studio in Boston with producer Raul Chirinos. It will follow their debut EP Simple and is a representation of the group's growth and progression. The new album is the bands modern take on traditional Rock & and Roll. Complete with the same loud raspy vocals, hard-hitting drumbeats, thumping bass, and heavy guitar the band is sonically known for.

The band already has some pretty big festival plays under their belt including: Lollapalooza, Lollapalooza Chile, and Vive Latino. They continue to make a name for themselves in the US and abroad. "Red Oblivion is sincere rock, not the ideas spell of rawk", Comments Cailey Lindberg, writer of Allston Pudding I don't know what I want, but I know how to get it, raw rock band stylized for Lollapalooza caliber." "That is attractive."

The trio plans to continue touring, bringing their passion and Rock & Roll attitude everywhere they go.

Childhood friends, Rob Suchecki and Patrick Raimondi, started playing in bands together at age 12 in rural Connecticut. Rob's uncle had been giving him guitar lessons on a miniature acoustic since he was 8 and Patrick had discovered his dad's 50's Epiphone guitar beneath his bed a few years earlier. Patrick gravitated towards the bass and, with a mutual love of punk, blues and alternative rock, he and Rob spent the next ten years performing countless shows in grimy bars they were far too young to be in.

Having clocked up an outrageous number of miles on the odometer, they found themselves back home in Connecticut looking for something long-term musically. After writing and recording their first EP as AM Aesthetic in their parent's basements, 2009?s "(AM)bivalence", they began to scour the internet looking for a drummer.

Their Craigslist ad was answered by fellow Connecticut native RJ Dowhan and after about 10 minutes, it was clear that this was the lineup they were after. RJ caught the musician bug from his two older brothers, one of whom played the drums… left-handed. Being that the drum kit was always set up lefty, that's how RJ learned to play. The fact that he was right-handed: irrelevant.

In 2011, AM Aesthetic relocated to NYC, leading Rob to session work – he has appeared as a session guitarist on several projects, including one platinum-selling single from a Billboard 200 #1 album. And in 2012, they released their second EP "Waiting In The Wings", recorded largely in their apartment. The band is now writing a full-length album, aiming for a Spring 2014 release.

Rock 'n' roll has long been misunderstood as rebellion without cause. But it has always had a purpose: raw, risky, ambitious truth-telling. It's about calling it like you already see it; and then some. It's about putting rhythm, rhyme and volume to feelings we all already feel. It is an ever-evolving, tireless and timeless story. This is the rock 'n' roll of Music City's The New Schematics.

The New Schematics center around two best friends: Cory Bishop and Michael Bare. Their bromance began in 2013; and within a month of meeting in their home of Nashville, they were sharing a bottle of whiskey and writing songs together (on Valentine's Day, nonetheless). Just a few months later, Michael began to join Cory playing for his solo, Folk/Americana project.

Through the remainder of 2014, they played nearly 100 shows together, driving thousands upon thousands of miles in their outdated luxury tour van, The Ship. Their bond became stronger on the road, listening to their favorite artists on the long drives; watching old VHS on The Ship's old-school TV/VCR; sharing their hopes and dreams with one another.

"I started to see that something bigger than just my solo project was evolving," Cory says, but it wasn't until he got into the studio with Michael that things really began to take-off.

In September of 2014, the duo set out to record Bishop's next solo EP with Andrew Bergthold, a Nashville-based producer who most notably works with Ed Cash (Needtobreathe) and Ted Tjornhom (Mutemath). Bergthold's involvement was just what Michael and Cory needed to expand their vision. Their sound become wider; bigger; bolder. They brought in close friends and touring musicians Eric Montgomery (keys), Ayrton Guerke (drums), and John Briggs (electric guitar, vocals) to collaborate on the project. Bishop slowly drifted away from his solo, folk sound and toward a cohesive, modern rock 'n roll sound that the he and Michael had been destined for all along: The New Schematics.

Over the next eight months, what had begun as a folk EP for Cory Bishop, turned into a much bigger project that sprang a rock n' roll group. Bergthold's knack for sonic layering and inspired synth-laden production led The New Schematics to an honest, powerful and timeless sound that emphasizes Cory's intriguing story-driven lyrics. Set to release their debut EP in 2015, The New Schematics lead with the single, "Born Without Borders." It's bold and big; honest and raw; classic and modern. It's rock 'n' roll.

Circadian Clock is a 5 piece rock band formed in 2008. The seemingly mismatched group of strangers come together to make some seriously strange music, and they prefer it that way. The unique blend of many different styles of music make it difficult to pinpoint them under one genre, but they promise you'll enjoy the ride between Rock, Pop, Punk, Jazz, Classical and everything else.Vile formed Circadian Clock with drummer Wes Raiden. Later Vile found Charlemagne playing bass on a rock in Central Park and he hopped on board. Wes found Ayumi, who he found while running away from a crazy 13 year old girl chasing him for blocks, which incidentally, was also Ayumi. With the recent addition of Drew, the group is ready for anything.
"Niche? They want us to appeal to a niche? They simply then don't know what we do. What is it that we do? We do what we want!" - Ayumi, Keys.
