QEW LUNEL & The Mosaic Movement

Brooklyn native Pierre Lunel Davilmar Jr., known as Qew Lunel was introduced to music at a very young age. He grew up in a single family home with his mother, and older sister and younger brother. Music surrounded him wherever he went. His mother & father played the guitar. His uncle was also a band leader/singer of a popular Haitian band that traveled throughout the world.

Qew Lunel has a musical background which consist of writing, composing and producing music. His musical background as a Hip-Hop artist gave him the experience & helped him home his craft as a writer as well as a performer. He started writing at the age of 10. He traveled throughout several different venues in New York, Boston and Philadelphia performing and entertaining his audience until his early mid 20's. As his talent matured so did his taste in music. Even though he had a strong love for HIp-Hop, he was always mixing his music with reggae and rock which made it easier for him to transition into his new style of music.

Qew Lunel & The Mosaic Movement was formed in 2014 by band leader/singer "Qew Lunel" in Brooklyn, NY. The band's sound is a mixture of reggae, rock, funk and alternative music. He is an artist in the truest sense of the word. His objective is to always make music that tells a story. Music that people can feel and relate too. Music that matters!
