PROJECT Trio, featuring members of PROJECT: The Camp! 2015

Combining the virtuosity of world-class artists with the energy of rock stars, PROJECT Trio is breaking down traditional ideas of chamber music. Blending their classical training with an eclectic taste in musical styles, they make a big impact on audiences of all ages. The genre-defying Trio is acclaimed by the press as “packed with musicianship, joy and surprise” and “exciting a new generation of listeners about the joys of classical and jazz music.”

This event, will be the culminating concert of PROJECT: The Camp! The festival, now in its fourth year, brings together students from around the country to focus on what it is to be a 21st Century Chamber Musician. During this week long intensive, there is an emphasis on Composition, Improvisation, Performance, Extended Techniques, and Building Ensembles with any Instrumentation. This concert will feature all of the students performing works that they have composed during the week and also include a performance by PROJECT Trio.
