Hard cider is the hot brew right now, and you can taste more than 75 of the best local and internationally-produced varieties at this fun festival at the Brooklyn Expo Center in trendy Greenpoint. Along with sampling cider from your very own five-ounce souvenir tasting glass, you'll also enjoy live music, food trucks and all kinds of interesting seminars on the making of this apple-based beverage. Part of the proceeds will benefit local charities as well. Scheduled to participate are local brands like Big Apple Hard Cider and Original Sin, U.S. favorites including Woodchuck Hard Cider and Angry Orchard, and a variety of imports from Spain, England and elsewhere.
