About "polvo y tierra, or ways to deal with somebody else's death"

Dance-Theater Piece Explores Grieving Process

Live music, movement and meaningful staging highlight this collaboration between real-life couple Irene Cortina, dancer-director, and Paul Dill who wrote and plays the score. The contemporary dance-theater piece "polvo y tierra (dust and soil), or ways to deal with somebody else's death" follows two characters as they return home from the funeral of someone close to them and attempt to go on with their normal lives, but each reacts differently to their feelings of grief. New York's Kraine Theater is the latest stop on this show's international tour, which has also taken it to Germany, Spain and Israel.
