About Pleasurekraft / Matrixxman / Jaceo
Every so often, a group comes along which shakes the entire dance scene from its very roots with a style so unique, and a sound so intoxicating, that it influences scores of imitators, and inspires a new generation of producers. Pleasurekraft is exactly such a group. The brainchild of Kaveh Soroush and Kalle Ronngardh, Pleasurekraft was born in the summer of 2009. Having had their very first track played by Pete Tong on his Essential Selection, followed by remixes for Chymera, and John Acquaviva's Definitive imprint, Pleasurekraft became a new name to keep an eye on. Fast forward to the spring of 2010, and the year's biggest smash hit, Pleasurekraft's "Tarantula" was released. It quickly earned the support of the world's biggest DJ's: Sasha & Digweed, Deadmau5, Nic Fanciulli, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Dubfire, Michael Mayer, Mark Knight, Laurent Garnier & more. It overtook releases from much bigger artists like Tiesto, Mark Knight, Joris Voorn, Axwell, & the entire Swedish House Mafia, on its climb to the top of the charts, and retained the #1 overall position on Beatport for an entire month! Being hailed by everyone as the year's biggest track, and already a summer anthem. On the heels of "Tarantula", Pleasurekraft are working harder than ever, with remixes forthcoming for Sander Kleinenberg, John Acquaviva & Olivier Giacomotto, and even Deadmau5's BSOD project. Their next release, sure to be another instant classic, is none other than a remix forMunich's Great Stuff recordings. In addition, two monster originals will be out later in the year with collaborations from Reset Robot [Sci+Tec/Noir], and Hugo [Great Stuff/Material]. While dance music trends come and go, those who stick to a singular vision and belief in the music they consistently produce are always left standing when the fads have long gone. Pleasurekraft is exactly such a group.
A digitally distinguished gentleman. Man of international intrigue, mystery and consummate taste.
Denver-based DJ/producer Jaceo (born Jerameel Quintela) is one of underground dance music's top rising talents. Charting multiple top 5's (including a #1) in Beatport's techno, tech-house and deep house charts leaves no doubts about his potential.
Putting techy grooves on full display is a way of life for the Mexican-American beat smith. His discography includes a host of tunes on respected labels like Kraftek, OFF, 100% Pure, Bitten, Witty Tunes, Kling Klong, Toolroom, Great Stuff and more.
His DJ sets have soul. They bounce. They replace thought with movement that flows from your shoulders, through your hips and down to the bottoms of your feet. Jaceo's goal is not to make you think. It's to make you move.
