About Pianist Jim Brickman

Jim Brickman: Contemporary Pianist at B.B. King's

One of the few solo instrumentalists to score a Billboard hit ("Valentine" with Martina McBride), Jim Brickman has a knack for taking a classical instrument and creating songs with mainstream appeal. He has sent 26 piano-dominated singles flying up the Adult Contemporary charts, including two that hit No. 1. Brickman's mellow tunes walk the line between pop and new age, filled with emotion and lyrical beauty, but expertly structured as well. In addition to his solo work, Brickman has worked with Jim Henson on songs for "The Muppets, Sesame Street" and Disney projects and he's collaborated with Olivia Newton-John, Johnny Mathis, Donny Osmond and many others. Catch his smooth pop-flavored tunes at B.B. King Blues Club in the heart of Times Square.
