Peg Leg Love

Peg Leg Love was started in 2005 by Ilir Zeneli as a solo project, and has since evolved into a full band currently w/ Ilir Zeneli (guitars, vocals, keys), Christina Ownby (bass) and Rocio Galindo (drums). Peg Leg Love have released 5 full lengths, and a 7 inch 4 song ep. Their sound is comparable to early garage/punk acts such as the Cramps and the Gun Club. Peg Leg Love is the sound of L.A. with the right amount of darkness and pop.

It's obscure but not bleak, it's tough but upbeat at the same time, energetic and windy, and it made me think about a music scene I haven't known but only heard about.
