About Pauly Shore

Pauly Shore (MTV, "Encino Man, Bio-Dome") at Highline Ballroom

Wildly goofy stand-up comedian Pauly Shore shot to fame as an MTV VJ in the '90s. He later moved his "weasel" persona (best known for the phrase "hey bud-dy!") into feature films, including "Encino Man", "In the Army Now" and "Bio-Dome". More recently, Shore has starred in the mockumentary "Adopted", which saw him traveling to Africa to adopt a child. He has multiple projects in the works, including a TV pilot and various projects with Funny or Die. Born to a comedy family -- his dad is comedian Sammy Shore, and his mom Mitzi runs Los Angeles' legendary Comedy Store -- Shore has headlined stand-up venues around the world. Now, he takes a break from working on a new documentary ("Pauly Shore Stands Alone") and his star-studded podcast ("Pauly Shore's Interested") to headline the Highline.
