About Parranda Navideña: "Navidad Boricua" Concert

All-Star "Navidad Boricua" Concert: A Puerto Rican Holiday Tradition

A holiday tradition returns to the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts as masters of pure Puerto Rican music hit the stage: José Nogueras and Papo Valle and his Trio Borinquen. Based on an ancient Spanish tradition, Puerto Rican musicians took up the practice of traveling door-to-door spreading holiday cheer with Christmas music and a party atmosphere. Now these standout artists bring their biggest hits, including "Dame La Mano Paloma" and "No Quieren Parar," to the Bronx to carry on this seasonal tradition.
