PARLOR SOCIAL is fronted by Montreal-bred husband and wife writing team Dessy Di Lauro and Ric???key Pageot. Dessy provides sultry vocals that flawlessly encapsulate the spirit of Uptown???s early 20th Century cultural boom through the prohibition era, but she offers a timeless approach that???s all her own. Serving as musical director and pianist/ accordionist, Ric???key is either playing the squeezebox or tickling the ivories with an affable buoyant stride that promotes the infectiously festive atmosphere of their concerts.

PARLOR SOCIAL have performed (under the name Dessy Di Lauro) twice at Blue Note Jazz Festival, The Montreal International Jazz Festival, the BRIC Jazz Festival in Brooklyn, the Grand Performances Concert series in Los Angeles, and in London, Vancouver, Atlanta. Di Lauro has performed with the likes of Patti Labelle, The Neville Brothers, Social Distortion, and Dreamcar. Pageot has been Madonna's touring pianist/keyboardist since her 2008 Sticky & Sweet World and he's also recently written and recorded for Jill Scott and Earth Wind and Fire.

PARLOR SOCIAL is back in studio working on their upcoming album set for a release in the Fall 2017, a flollow up to their compilation album 'Say Hep Hep + This Is Neo-Ragtime'.
