About PAPER BOX PRESENTS: A Case For Brooklyn, The Hurt Project, Vitale, The Little Red Men

The Hurt Project began as an offshoot of an up-and-coming NYC blues band, when vocalist Holly Hamper, guitarist Marlon Hurt, bassist Donald Facompre, drummer Paul Wohlmaker, and keys player Bill Hennessy broke away to explore more contemporary blues and soul. The Hurt Project are looking to put their own spin on some of the great blues tunes as well as add original songs to the blues lexicon.

VITALE was founded in Brooklyn, NY. The trio started to perform their debut set "Welcome to the Multiverse" for the public in the New York City area in March 2014

The first demo "Technical Fool" tells the story of a human trying to understand his place in the universe, its gaps and reflections. VITALE has all the qualities of an emerging solo artist, not just indie, but divergent in all the original ways.

The most recent demo "DMT" enters a narrative space to explore time, dimensions and spiritual vibration, all characterized by musical distortion contrasted with lyrical symmetry.
