Edith Piaf Tribute With Yael & Gabriel

Jazz duo Yael & Gabriel bring "Padam, Padam", their musical tribute to Edith Piaf, to New York's Cafe Wha? for a sultry summer evening of musical romance. Piaf was France's national diva, the legendary chanteuse who captivated Paris and the world with such ballads as "La Vie en Rose," "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien," "Hymne a l'Amour" and this show's title song. Her essence is captured by Yael Dray-Barel, a French/Israeli singer/songwriter influenced by rock and gypsy jazz, and her performing partner Gabriel Hermida, an Argentinian guitarist whose compositions are infused with elements of classical tango, flamenco and contemporary jazz.
