About Origin, Krisiun, Aeon, Alterbeast, Soreption, Ingested

On July 4th, 1997, Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner, acquaintances through mutual friends, had a conversation that would change their lives. Shortly thereafter, the two guitarists/vocalists got together and started jamming with the intent to create a band embodying blistering speed, total brutality, technical proficiency, and the utmost in quality musicianship.

In October, 1997, they convinced long-time friend Clint Appelhanz to put down his guitar, pick up a bass and join them. Coincidentally, Paul was also good friends with vocalist Mark Manning, who possessed an unbelievably monstrous voice of unmatched ferocity. After hearing the damage the existing members had rendered, Mark aligned himself with the nascent group.

In January, 1998, the quartet found drummer George Fluke, who enabled the artists to push the boundaries of their music even further. Finally, after deciding on a moniker that best represented their vision, the unearthly entity known as ORIGIN was created. Four months after formation, ORIGIN landed a high-profile gig opening for SUFFOCATION, and unleashed on the unsuspecting crowd a torrent of unbelievably technical, pulverizing death metal. The band then entered the studio and recorded a four-song, self-financed and self-distributed demo entitled "A Coming Into Existence," which received rave reviews. During the summer Origin played a couple more shows with bands WORMWOOD, DISASSOCIATE, DOWN BY ANGER & THE HEAVILY CREATED.

ORIGIN delivered a sonic barrage of inhuman proportions with their next album. Introducing two new members James Lee on vocals (ILL-OMEN) & Mike Flores (ONCE LIVING) on bass, the mind-eroding "Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas." was faster, darker, and more complex than anything the death genre has issued to date. "Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas" showcased ORIGIN's otherworldly musicianship while delivering heinous amounts of the band's unique "aggro-tech" extremity. Immediately following the release of "Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas," ORIGIN hit the road as part of the largest metal tour of the summer; with NILE, ARCH ENEMY and HATE ETERNAL. Following the tour Jeremy Turner resigned from the band and Clint Appelhanz returned to do a tour with IMMOLATION, VADER & the BERZERKER followed by another tour with ALL THAT REMAINS, SCAR CULTURE, and CREMATORIUM. Unforeseen problems forced ORIGIN to cancel the tour with NUCLEAR ASSAULT in January 2003 and shortly thereafter John Longstreth resigned from the band. The search was on for a new drummer and luckily enough James King (UNMERCIFUL) was the man to fill the spot.

In June 2007, Jeremy Turner rejoined ORIGIN, thus re-forming the "Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas" line-up, which is widely considered to be the band's strongest line-up. The band began writing and recording for a new full-length for the remainder of 2007. The resulting brand new album, "Antithesis", was engineered by Rob Rebeck at Chapman Studios and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound.

"Antithesis" is marked for an April 2008 release date and explodes out of the box at breakneck speed, with guitars and bass shredding wildly behind a beastly 3-vocal attack, slowing only for the virtuosic soloing of emerging guitar heroes Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner. Faster, heavier, and decidedly more advanced than anyone could have ever envisioned the genre becoming, "Antithesis" is a modern day death metal classic, which proves ORIGIN stand head and shoulders above their peers.

ORIGIN is:

Paul Ryan – guitars / vocals
Jeremy Turner – guitars / vocals
James Lee – vocals
Mike Flores – bass / vocals
John Longstreth – drums

In April 2006, Aeon hit the road in Europe with Cannibal Corpse and were met with an overwhelming response by the fans. Later that summer, Aeon parted ways with longtime bass player Johan Hjelm (replaced by Max Carlberg), and in July, they signed a deal with Metal Blade Records.

In April 2007 the band recorded the album Rise to Dominate and in September it was released by Metal Blade Records. Much like the previous album, this one received very good response from both media and fans and demand for the band to tour in the North America continued to grow.

In January 2009, the band hits the European roads with Hate Eternal, Misery Index and See You Next Tuesday and after that they continued working on the new album. In September,Aeon parted ways with bass player Max Carlberg, who was replaced by former Satyricon bass player Victor Brandt, and the band recorded the album Path of Fire. In November, Aeonsupported Mayhem on their Swedish dates on their "25 Years of Chaos" tour. In January 2010, bass player Victor leaves Aeon and was replaced by Marcus Edvardsson.

In May 2010, Aeon released their third full-lenght album, Path Of Fire thru Metal Blade Records, which was mixed by multi-talent Erik Rutan at Mana Studio in Florida and mastered by Alan Douches for West West Side Music. Once more the band was met with high praise from the death metal community and press alike with Metal Review saying the album "excels in every department required for a stellar death metal record" and About.com calling the album "a juicy slab of prime-cut blasphemous death metal." In September of the same year, drummer Nils Fjellström left Aeon and by November the band re-recruits original / founding member, Arttu Mallki, to once again be the force behind the drums. In April 2011Aeon headlined a shorter UK / EU tour with Cerebral Bore and Flyed Disciple

Enter 2012: By the 1st of June Aeon began recording their 4th full-length album and third release for Metal Blade, Aeons Black, with engineer/producer Ronnie Björnström (Garageland Studios). During this recording a 20 minutes documentary was also made, which will be premiered to the masses before the album drops on November 20, 2012.Aeon is already confirmed for a UK tour which will take place in January 2013 with more dates for Europe and North America in the works.

Sacramento technical death metal militia, ALTERBEAST, is pleased to unleash their full-length debut via Unique Leader this Spring! Titled Immortal, the eight track monster offering was meticulously assembled in several locals throughout 2013. With guitars and bass recorded at Augmented Audio in Los Angeles with former The Black Dahlia Murder bassist Ryan "Bart" Williams, vocals arranged at Mayhemeness Studios in Sacramento by Bob Swanson (Rings Of Saturn) and drums tracked at Castle Ultimate Studios with Zack Ohren (Light This City, All Shall Perish, First Blood, Cattle Decapitation, Warbringer et al), who also mixed and mastered the release, Immortal promises to deliver some of the most dynamic, instrumentally adept and plainly crushing material of the year.

Elaborates ALTERBEAST on the outcome: "Immortal is what was spawned from hard work, dedication, and downright brutal musicianship. It has intricate solos, absolutely crushing interludes and brutal circle-pit anthems. ALTERBEAST sets the scene with grievous piano preceding the onset of 'Flesh Bound Text' which comes in with blistering drums and guitars effortlessly making their way around the fret board. Every piece truly has its own personality on this record, whether it's the apocalyptic soundscapes of 'Ancient's Retribution,' the devastating aggression of 'Vile Remnants' or the unmerciful grooves in 'Throne of Maggots.' This album has something for every listener and comes together seamlessly to form as a breathtaking whole. Immortal is exactly what we intended it to be: a gripping and intense death metal album."

Immortal Track Listing:
1. Flesh Bound Text
2. Of Decimus Divine
3. Vile Remnants
4. Ancient's Retribution
5. Mutilated Marvel
6. Into Oblivion
7. Serpentspire
8. Throne of Maggots

Formed in 2011 under the working title Gary Busey Amber Alert (GBAA), ALTERBEAST combines the teachings of The Black Dahlia Murder, Necrophagist and Spawn of Possession with the classic death metal mastery of band's like Dissection and Morbid Angel into an irate expulsion of sonic deviance. After a year of dedicated song-crafting, ALTERBEAST unleashed their first demo in 2012 and officially waged war on the populace with numerous shows opening for Deicide, Dying Fetus, Testament, Revocation, Exhumed, Severed Savior and many others. Their crushing live assaults combined with a DIY ethos quickly earned them a revered place within the local death metal community.

Immortal will rear its head upon the masses on March 18, 2014 via Unique Leader. Further intel, including preorder links, to be announced in the coming days.

Mancunian slam crew INGESTED have built a reputation as one of the most savage death metal acts to come out of the UK for a long time. Punishing beat-downs, epic riffage, guttural vocals and blistering speed are just some of the weapons in Ingested's musical arsenal.

2015 now sees Ingested return with their heaviest offering yet in the form of "The Architect Of Extinction", mixed by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and featuring mind blowing artwork from Toshihiro Egawa (who also did the artwork for the band's debut record).
"The Architect Of Extinction" will be released January 12th on Century Media Records in Europe.

Jason Evans (vocals) comments: "It's took us three albums and two EP's to find our sound, our identity as a band. This album is Ingested in it's purest form; nihilistic, slamming death metal. Every lyric, guitar riff and drum beat on this album is delivered with utter sincerity, we fucking mean it this time. This is the album we have always wanted to create, this is THE ARCHITECT OF EXTINCTION.
Once again we enlisted the amazing art talents of Toshihiro Egawa, who we worked with on our debut album "Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering" to produce yet another stunning, brutal masterpiece to compliment the audio assault we've captured on disc. This album was mixed by Christian Donaldson (Beneath the Massacre, The Last Felony and Cryptopsy) and features guest appearances by Julian Kersey (Aegaeon), Taylor Wientjes (The Kennedy Veil), James Schuster (Eighty Thousand Dead / Delusional Parasitosis) and Alex Terible (Slaughter to Prevail) who have contributed their very own brand of brutality to this record. This is our most definitive work to date and we can't wait to unleash it on the world."
