Odessa

Odessa’s intimate and touching music transcends eras and genres, drawing from a variety of musical influences in a distinct way only she is capable of. Her debut album, a collection of timeless melodies, was produced by Jacquire King (Of Monsters and Men, Norah Jones, Kings of Leon, Dawes among others) was released April 2014 on Republic/Chop Shop Records. Her songs have appeared in Grey's Anatomy, Reign, Hart of Dixie, a Subaru commercial and many others. Jon Pareles from the New York Times describes Odessa as, "a sweet counterbalance: tranquility instead of nervous energy, simplicity rather than knotty constructions.” and Bob Boilen from NPR gushes, “Odessa. Just lovely.”
