About O.A.R.

Alternative Rockers O.A.R. Live at PNC Bank Arts Center

O.A.R. (short for "Of A Revolution") first gained success on college campuses, but their roots-rock and reggae-tinged sound soon became a hit with a broader audience. Formed when all members were students at Ohio State University, the band built their popularity with the release of the intensely popular song, "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker," which propelled them from college favorites to a chart-topping national act. Since the late '90s, O.A.R. has released eight successful studio albums, with the latest being 2014's "The Rockville LP", which is filled with the island grooves and laid-back party jams that have long made them the perfect band to hang with on a summer night. Allen Stone opens this concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.
