NT Live Screening: "A View From the Bridge"

Mark Strong ("The Imitation Game", "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy") heads up the National Theatre of London's production of Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge", screened live from Britain at New York's Symphony Space. Miller's drama of obsessive love centers on a Brooklyn longshoreman who's infatuated with the orphaned niece he and his wife have been raising as a daughter. But their lives take a tragic turn when the girl falls for one of the family's recently immigrated Italian cousins. Helmed by Obie Award-winning Belgian director Ivo van Hove, this revival of 1955's "A View From the Bridge" has been hailed as both "visceral and vital" by "The Guardian".
