"Nothing to Be Afraid Of": Halloween Concert With the Pit Stop Players

The Pit Stop Players, an instrumental chamber ensemble composed of veteran Broadway pit musicians, presents "Nothing to Be Afraid Of", a concert of Halloween-themed music that offers up just the right amount of chills, without ever going overboard. Come dressed in costume to hear their "entirely innocuous" song selection, which includes excerpts from the scores to "Psycho", "Vertigo" and "The Shining", plus Saint-Saëns' well-loved "Danse Macabre". You'll also hear "thoroughly unthreatening premieres" by Alan Taylor, Thomas Sleeper, and Pit Stop music director Joshua Rosenblum when this fun family concert comes to New York's Christ and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. But beware; the concert's not entirely fright-free. Prepare yourself to hear the most terrifying title of all: "Tuition, Room and Board."
