Salsa Stars Charlie Aponte (El Gran Combo), José "El Canario" Alberto & Domingo Quinones

Come out for a hot night of salsa featuring some of the biggest singers in Latin music at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. For over 40 years Charlie Aponte sang in the legendary El Gran Combo, the most popular salsa group of all time. He brings his Puerto Rican charm, outstanding vocals and slick moves to the stage for this concert with José Alberto. Know as "El Canario," Alberto is known for his sweet voice and extraordinary whistling abilities. They'll be joined by special guest Domingo Quinones, a New Jersey native who spent his formative years in Puerto Rico absorbing the spirit and energy of salsa music.
