About No Nets, Black River Manifesto, Garbage Brain, Twiga

Formed in Brooklyn in 2012, Black River Manifesto (formerly Black River Quartet) started out as a straight rockabilly/ blues band playing re-worked standards from the rootsier side of the rock-and-roll cannon. Changes of line-up ensued and the band quickly outgrew the limitations of the initial format and opted to pursue a tighter, more focused instrumental unit, embracing the compositional freedom the new model allowed.
Since then the band have been honing a heavier, punkier sound, placing their focus on live shows. They have become regulars on the NYC Dive Bar and DIY scene, have released one EP and performed a live radio session on Brooklyn based station The Indie Darkroom.

They have completed 2 East Coast tours with more booked throughout 2014, and their 2nd EP "Motorcity" is released in June 2014.

The band's music is currently being released through DIY label Vault62.

Twiga is a band from Brooklyn that shares a love of catchy, jangly pop and the mark tom and travis show. The band formed as an outlet for Dave Lucas' love of simple, poppy, unpredictable guitar. Joining up with Johnny Zachman, Jackie Perrone, and Lauren Barbato, the band's history goes back 8 years and runs back and forth between Northwest Indiana, Chicago, Ithaca, Rochester, Brooklyn, Jersey, and back to Brooklyn (they think they'll stay here). They support catchy hooks with thoughtful structure and texture, and they support you with hugs and kind words.
