About New Yorker Ensemble plays 'Gypsy In Classical Music'

GYPSY IN CLASSICAL MUSIC program has the most beautiful and exciting classical music by great composers from Schubert to Hubay. Pieces are inspired by gypsy music from Turkey, Hungary, Russia, Spain, France and more.
New Yorker Ensemble is a New York based performance group founded by Emir Gams?zo?lu (Pianist/Composer) and Ege Maltepe (Theater Artist). New Yorker Ensemble has singers, actors and dancers as well as the musicians and started their performance life in 2013 with concerts and interdisciplinary projects such as Drama in Beethoven and Talking to Schubert.
GYPSY IN CLASSICAL MUSIC is a “Classical For All” project.
“Classical For All”s mission is to create new ways for presenting classical music, without altering the musical content. We believe through our interdisciplinary projects, engaging concert programs, music appreciation classes and personal approach, it is possible to break the institutionalized walls of classical music in the 21st century and reach a wider audience including those who are not familiar with the genre.
Emir Gams?zo?lu - piano & composer
Angela Shankar - clarinet
Artur Kaganovskiy - violin
