Muppet Vault: Movies!

The Oscars are upon us, which means it's the perfect time to watch Muppets celebrate the magic of motion pictures, as the Muppet Vault presents: Movies! Take a trip to Tinseltown with Kermit and the gang as the creators of Muppet fan website ToughPigs.com bring you the Muppets’ most memorable movie spoofs and classic scenes and songs from the classic Muppet movies.

The event will include a screening of the rarely-seen TV special The Muppets Go Hollywood, originally aired to mark the occasion of the Muppets’ very first movie back in 1979. Dick Van Dyke and Rita Moreno host, the Swedish Chef sings, and a good time is had by all. The fun will continue with some of your favorite moments from flicks like The Muppet Movie, the Muppets’ parodies of big hit movies, and lots more fun from the Muppet dream factory. Not to mention the drink specials, audience participation, cool giveaways, and more!
?Hardcore Muppet geeks and casual fans alike are invited to Union Hall (702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn) on Monday, February 22 at 8:00 PM (doors at 7:30) for “The Muppet Vault: Movies!” Singing and dancing frogs and bears are also welcome, but please note that due to venue policy, this is a 21 and over event.

The Muppet Vault is a monthly series presented by the Muppet fan site ToughPigs.com at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, featuring classic, rare, and unreleased videos from the Muppets, Sesame Street, and the works of Jim Henson.?
