About Mitch Frohman Latin Jazz Quartet

Famed Sax Man Mitch Frohman & His Latin Jazz Quartet

Bronx-born saxophonist/flutist Mitch Frohman may be best known for his signature solo on the theme song for the famed TV show "Sex and The City", but he's also been a member of some of the most famous Latin bands of the last century, including the Tito Puente Orchestra, Mongo Santamaria, The Bronx Horns, Eddie Torres' Mambo Kings, and the Grammy-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra. In the latest collaboration from this musical legend, he's recruited the Curtis Brothers -- pianist Zaccai, bassist Luques and drummer Joel Mateo -- to join the Mitch Frohman Latin Jazz Quartet. They'll be appearing at Subrosa in the Meatpacking District with music from their first release, a disc called "From Daddy With Love".
