Hailing from Sheffield, a city regarded as a backbone within electronic music. Alex's obsession with music was present from an early age, and under his Mister Sushi guise across seventeen years record collecting and dj'ing his unrelenting dedication is ever strong.

As a dj, record label owner, music publicist, radio presenter and promoter Alex drives passion into all he does. Moving to London in his early 20's, he was exposed to one of the worlds most deserve electronic music scenes, which he soon immersed himself in. Performing sets at Turnmills, Fabric, Scala, Koko, The Social, XOYO, The Key, Birthdays, The Nest, BFI and countless other nightclub institutions.

Few dj's can say they've shared stages with krautrock titans Faust, alt hip hop pioneers Antipop Consortium, electro powerhouse Dopplereffekt and the innovative Caribou. Alex's expansive record collection has also found him performing alongside Mogwai, Pantha du Prince, Oni Ayhun, Legowelt, A Guy Called Gerald, F*ck Buttons, Richard Fearless, Jon Hopkins, Luke Abbott, Apparat, Ewan Pearson, Light Asylum, The Field, Max Cooper, Vex'd, Psychemagik, Mount Kimbie, Mary Anne Hobbs, Daedelus and ADULT.

His dj career has taken him to the far reaches of Romania, Germany, Japan, France, and the USA, where he currently resides.
