Mike Brun, Rachel Brotman

Mike Brun is a composer, arranger, music director, and performer known for the wide range of his projects. He is one third of the Shaina Taub Trio, and a frequent sideman to such acts as Jacob Snider and Kate Davis. His theater credits include Music Director and onstage musician for the off-broadway production of "Mr. Burns" at Playwrights Horizons; and he is a Comissioned Artist with Ars Nova theater. He is an alum of the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project and the Civilians Research & Development Group. His most recent album, "little blues", strives to be equal parts hypnotic, intelligent, and catchy.


Rachel Brotman is a Brooklyn based musician and composer, born and raised in NYC, educated in New Orleans, drawing from soul and electronic influences amidst roots in jazz and improvisation. She has performed on national stages from The Blue Note to Lincoln Center to The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. She has been featured by BMI, NPR, Revive Music and Giant Step.
