Mikaela Davis is a harpist/singer-songwriter from Rochester, New York who burst onto the scene following her amazing YouTube covers of Sufjan Stevens' “Casimir Pulaski Day,” which has received over 150,000 hits, and Elliott Smith’s “Twilight,” which has received close to 120,000 hits. Since releasing her latest EP Fortune Teller in January of this year, Mikaela has showcased at SXSW and toured the East Coast and Midwest with bandmates Alex Coté (drums and percussion) and Cian McCarthy (guitar, sitar, and keys). Refinery 29 describes Mikaela's style as “virtuosic playing with singer-songwriter chops.” Her musical inspirations range from psychedelic rock to classical and jazz and, to date, she has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Indie Rock artists My Brightest Diamond, Jukebox the Ghost, Filligar, and Indians.
