"MEDIO is the collaboration of five like-minded musicians who play weekly at their studio in Dumbo. The band name was derived from "audio" and "medium". Formed in 2008 as a cover band, the group soon began writing original songs and broke away from playing covers. With two self-produced EPs under their belt, shows at several venues in Manhattan and an upcoming album to be released, The Rock Shop will be the band's Brooklyn debut. What makes it extra special is that Park Slope is (or was) home to various members of the band."
