McDonald's "B-Boy Royale 4": Top Breakdancing Crews Compete for the Grand Prize

With astounding, game-changing dance moves like windmills, head spins and jackhammers, B-boy culture started in the streets of New York and went on to leave its mark on the world. Now, McDonald's "B-Boy Royale" -- the city's largest annual breakdance tournament -- is back on the floor to celebrate dancers who keep the global phenomenon alive and thriving. NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts welcomes eight award-winning crews from across the U.S. and Canada to battle it out for a $5,000 grand prize and the 2017 championship title. You'll be in the presence of greatness, as breakdance legend Richard "Crazy Legs" Col??n, president of the iconic Rock Steady Crew, serves as this year's lead judge. Plus, you can check out surprise guests, music performances and the presentation of the 2017 McDonald's B-Boy Royale Lifetime Achievement Award. All "B-Boy Royale" proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Tri-State Area, a non-profit organization that provides needed stability and resources to children and their families.
