About Matt Krenz & The Divine, CitizenSane, The Ditty Committee
Matt Krenz & The Divine is the long-coming brainchild of singer/songwriter Matthew Krenz. The band features music written and performed by Matt and arranged by keyboard player James Sheppard. It is a funky, fabulous and eclectic blend of original music. They're an eight piece outfit featuring a ballsy horn trio and a rocking rhythm section. Upon listening, one will be enveloped in the velvet tone of front man Krenz. Based out of New York, NY, they're here to deliver a little new, a little old and a little shade on the side. Their debut EP "Goodbye, Good Mourning" was released on March 12th, 2014, and will serve as a prelude to a self-titled LP.
CitizenSane was started on a NYC stoop with Salvador Dali in 1991. Freeze dried and incubating for two decades, the Sane lives. Get ready.
The President's Committee on the Assassination of musical integrity, known unofficially as The Ditty Committee, was established on November 27, 1963, by Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate the crimes against melody committed on November 22, 1963. Its 9 song final report was presented to President Johnson on September 24, 1964, and made public three days later. The Committee's findings have since proven controversial and been both challenged and supported by later studies.
