About Mary Houlihan: Live 'N' Good


Mary Houlihan is a comedian, writer, actor, animator, and visual artist living in Brooklyn, NY. She is the co-creator of Cartoon Monsoon, a live theater show running at The Annoyance Theatre. She's performed at the Northside Festival, Brooklyn Comedy Festival, Philadelphia Five Dollar Comedy Week, and Boston Comedy Arts Festival. She played Lana Del Rey in the "Lana Del Race For The Cure" on Billy On The Street. She is a writer for Reductress, and a writer/performer on The Special Without Brett Davis on public access. She has created animated shorts for Comedy Central, and acted in web videos for Comedy Central and IFC. She curates and produces "Comedy Cassette Tape," a compilation tape of funny songs and sketches from people all over the USA on indie label Oxtail Recordings. She makes a living selling paintings ordered by email and delivered by mail and at her shows. "Mary Houlihan: Live 'N' Good" at Union Hall is her first one-woman show, consisting of stand-up, characters, and sketch.
