Magnus Ferguson (of Morningsiders)

Originally from Houston, Texas, Magnus Ferguson moved to New York City in high school and stayed to attend Columbia University, where he studied religion. Now calling NYC his home, he is a member of the buzzing neo-folk band, Morningsiders, which tours nationwide and released their debut EP "unfocus" earlier this year. The band’s single, “Empress," recently topped Spotify’s “Viral 50” Charts, along with landing a Starbucks commercial placement. Magnus writes on guitar and piano, inspired by the songwriting of Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, and Nick Drake. In his off time, he loves to teach music.
