About Lunifred Benjamin

"Brother Ray (Kingdom Came)" is the lead track off of Lunifred Benjamin's "Autumn Suite…", an album recorded entirely in 1 night at Ace Hotel (NYC) as an artist-in-residence. It's an autobiographical beat-lounge dive, a la everyone's favorite mental health mystic, Carl Jung.

Subtle string & woodwind compositions paint between the push of vocals that almost sound like Blonde on Blonde-era Dylan if he was capable of only being dear. The album situates itself somewhere in the confessional triumvirate of Destroyer's "Kaputt", Sufjan's phenomenal recent LP "Carrie & Lowell", and early Elliott Smith.

Lunifred Benjamin's upcoming studio LP is entitled "Sick Cyclic Cosmos", and its first single "Wake Up & Fight" will be released early this August. A video of "Brother Ray (Kingdom Came)" and a solo demo of "Wake Up & Fight" can all be found at: lunifredbenjamin.com
