Lucite Tokki & Nialand

Lucite Tokki is a Seoul based female pop duo formed in 2005. The group consists of Sun Young Kim (guitar) and Ye Jin Cho (vocal).
They first met in college, both majoring in music, and worked on several projects together to realize that they were the best musical partners for each other. As soon as they graduated, they took their first step into the music industry.
First they named their team, "tokki" (rabbit in Korean), because Sun Young looked like a rabbit and Ye Jin liked rabbits in general. However, as they started working in the industry, they changed their name to Lucite Tokki.
"Lucite Tokki" added the word "lucite" in their team name because of a necklace Ye Jin wanted that was made out of a lucite material (transparent thermoplastic) but couldn't get it because it being all sold out. To put up with inconvenience they decided to put the word carefully in their team name.

With a base of pop, Lucite Tokki creates honest music expressing their thoughts and feelings about their daily life. Lucite Tokki sincerely hopes that all their listeners and supporters feels the warmth they play through their music.
