Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Loudon Wainwright III turns the sharp gaze of his lyrical, often hilarious folk sensibility on the writings of his father, celebrated "LIFE" magazine writer Loudon Wainwright, Jr. "Surviving Twin" finds Wainwright III combining and connecting some of his best songs with text from his dad's column, The View From Here, which reflected on issues such as birth, loss, parenthood, fashion, pet ownership and mortality during its three-decade run. This poignant posthumous collaboration comes to SubCulture just in time for Father's Day.
