Loose Ends w/ DJ Selly

It has been more than ten years of spinning for this Lower East Side DJ who continues to successfully canvas the New York City area with her anti- radio message. Many places have been home to this lover of sound. Guernica, Sutra Lounge, Cafe Aubette, LudlowBar Remote Lounge, 8 West and La Linea are just a few of the places in which she has held weekly residences lasting for years. Her international ventures have included guest spots in London, Zurich, Spain and Italy.

Selly's signature mix features obscure American and British soul, throughout the years her musical repertoire has grown to embrace Nu-Jazz, Broken Beat, ultra lounge and house music alike. Her philosophy states that "if its quality music that cannot find a place on the radio... it deserves a chance to be heard in some capacity... enter the role of a DJ and musical educator.
