Looms, Madam West, Mustardmind

Formed in the winter of 2012, Looms consists frontman Sharif Mekawy (vocals, keys, guitar), Harry Morris Jr. (guitar), A. Hammond Murray (bass) and Zach Eichenhorn (drums). The groups' music is written around vocals and melodic instrumental arrangements. Each song has its own identity, an evolving catalogue that runs the gamut of song construction. Rock, pop, jazz, electronic, country and folk music are dissected and deconstructed down to their basic components, and then reassembled during the bands writing process. The band is set to record new material in early 2015. Looms's newest compositions are equal parts rhythm and content with insightful, emotionally engaging vocals. Looms has built a grassroots fan base by captivating its audience. Fans return knowing they are not going to see a cookie cutter set because of the groups' improvisational acumen within bridge and solo sections. Non-traditional covers and varied set lists build the mysticism and musical prowess of the group.


Madam West is an NYC-based experimental soul-pop band. The group started as a duo in the mildewed recesses of a Bushwick cellar not too different from your own (residential zoning laws aside).

What started as a weekly cover session and recording project blossomed into a folk-soul-pop fusion group that continues to entertain, engage, and sometimes baffle. The group has been favorably reviewed in Stereo/Pirate, UK's Songwriting Magazine, and featured on CFUV (Canadian college radio), along with various internet radio stations.

Madam West is currently comprised of three vocalists, one keyboard player/engineer, one drummer, one guitarist and more electronics than the band has hands.


Mustardmind is an NYC-based band formed in February 2015. Although recently conceived, the band has become known for their experimental, atmospheric sound with pop-rock sensibility. With a heavy focus on their live show, Mustardmind makes sure to produce a unique experience at every performance.
