About LODRO, So Pitted

Born in a cavernous Brooklyn warehouse in the winter of 2013, LODRO is branded with an ominous desolation. Fueled by the intricate and shadowy perspectives of Jeremy Cox, (formerly of Royal Baths), Lesley Hann (formerly of Friends), and Turner Halsey, the trio has made their presence known through a blitzkrieg of brilliantly unsettling live shows and a small glimpse down what promises to be a deep rabbit hole of analog home recordings. The neo noir punk outfit recently released their first 7" on October 22nd a mere nine months after their first performance, and are currently working on material for a full length.

"So Pitted's sludgy take on post-punk has been winning them fans around Seattle for quite some time, and for good reason. Their songs bristle with a nervous, jangly energy—the vocalist mutters about "spewing while [he] speaks," while the drums barrel on with paranoid skittishness and atonal guitars squeak out diseased-sounding earworms. Bad vibes equal good times. Highly recommended"- The Stranger
